Ex-LAPD detective: ‘Suge Knight and P Diddy were behind hits on Biggie and Tupac’

Ex-police officer claims he has proof pair ordered the killing of rap superstars

An ex-LAPD detective claims he has proof Sean “Puffy” Combs – or P Diddy – and Suge Knight ordered the murders of rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur.

In a new, self-published book, former detective Greg Kading, who was removed from the double investigation into the murders of the rival rappers, alleges the Los Angeles Police Department suppressed evidence, including taped confessions from hired hitmen, and removed him from the case just as he was on the verge of solving it.

Responsing to the accusations, Diddy wrote in an email to LA Weekly:

This story is pure fiction and completely ridiculous.

Shakur, who recorded for Knight’s Death Row Records, was gunned down in Las Vegas in September 1996.

Smalls, real name Christopher Wallace, a friend and colleague of Diddy’s, was shot and killed six months later in Los Angeles.
