Palma Violets announce ‘Rattlesnake Rodeo Tour’ details

The band will hit the road alongside Childhood, Baby Strange and Telegram in November

Palma Violets have announced details of their Rattlesnake Rodeo Tour which will take place throu November and December.

The band will hit the road alongside Childhood, Baby Strange and Telegram with the tour kicking off in Wolverhampton on November 18. Dates in Lincoln, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Norwich, Manchester, Oxford, Coventry, Plymouth, Southampton, Bristol and Brighton will then take place before a homecoming gig at London’s Coronet on December 5. Tickets for all dates go on sale on Monday (September 2) at 10am. Writing on their blog, the band say of the tour: “Come and get your nerves and eardrums shattered.”

Meanwhile, Palma Violets recently reacted to Johnny Marr dedicating a song to them during his set at Reading Festival (August 24) – watch it above now. The Smiths’ icon had devoted ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’ to the south London band during his solo set on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage on day two of the festival. The shout out followed Palma Violets’ own set on the same stage, during which they played songs from their debut album ‘180’.
