Palma Violets have released a brand new video for their track ‘Best Of Friends’.

The track will be re-released on July 1 and will be accompanied by the new promo clip, directed by Vivien Weyrauch and Fabian Röttger. The release comes ahead of the London band’s support slot for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park on July 6. The song is taken from their debut album, ‘180’.
Palma Violets headlined a special late-night show at The Great Escape last week (May 17) in Brighton, as part of NME Radar‘s series of gigs at the festival. ‘Best Of Friends’ inspired a glut of stagedivers, while waves of crowdsurfers were a regular fixture of the set.
Taking time to conduct fans in Palma Violets’ now trademark “spirit fingers” move before ‘Last Of The Summer Wine’, bassist/co-frontman Chilli Jesson told the audience “I discovered this in Horatio’s last year,” referring to the band’s set in the pub on the pier at 2012’s festival. Penultimate song ’14’ saw a mass stage invasion, while the band’s cover of The Hot Nasties’ ‘Invasion Of The Tribbles’ concluded with all members of the group, except drummer Will Doyle, jumping into the crowd.
