Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie reveals who he wants to collaborate with next

The frontman features on Taylor Swift's new single, 'ME!'

Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie has discussed his next potential collaboration, after recently joining forces with Taylor Swift.

The singer features on the ‘Reputation‘ star’s new single ‘ME!‘, which was released on Friday (April 26). He also stars in the track’s colourful video, seen arguing with Swift before the song begins.

Now, Urie has revealed who he wants to work with next – setting his sights on a future project with Kacey Musgraves.

Taking part in a recent fan Q&A on the Ask Anything YouTube channel, the musician was questioned on who he would want to team up with on a CMT Crossroads episode. The US TV show brings together country musicians with acts from other genres.

“[The] first name that comes to mind is Kacey Musgraves” replied Urie. “I’m a huge Kacey Musgraves fan.

“We went to a Clive Davis party a year back or two and sat at the same table – the same table as Kacey and Maren Morris. But I remember just sitting across from Kacey and me and my wife were losing it, y’know.”

Urie added: “I’m just a huge fan of her voice [and] her songwriting style. I think that would be really really fun to do.”

The acclaimed country artist released her GRAMMY-winning fourth record, ‘Golden Hour’, in 2018. She recently performed its title track as a duet with Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

Earlier this year, she sang a rendition of ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ with Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams.

Meanwhile, Brendon Urie has spoken out on his experience of working with Taylor Swift.

“Well I can’t begin to describe how incredible it has been to work on this song and video,” he said upon the release of ‘ME!’. “So I will simply say: Thank you Taylor Swift for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful story. So much fuckin love and respect.”

In other news, Panic! At The Disco’s single ‘High Hopes’ recently broke a decade-old radio record.
