PAPA ROACH are set to perform a free rooftop gig in LOS ANGELES tomorrow (June 18).
The group, who are releasing new album ’LoveHateTragedy’ today (June 17), will be at the Best Buy store at 11301 West Pico Boulevard at 7PM local time.
“We’re going to be on the rooftop, with all the kids,” frontman Jacoby Shaddix told NME.COM. “There’s gonna be 2,000 kids. We’re gonna play probably six or seven songs, sign autographs for the kids you know and just kick it, just hang out and just kind of get the reaction to what’s going down and just have a good time. It’s the birthday of our album.”
“We want to cause a raucous, shake it up a little because everybody goes by the rules all the time and there’s too many rules.”
Following a handful of shows throughout June, the group are set to join Eminem on the Anger Management Tour beginning on July 18 in Buffalo.
“We’re doing Anger Management this summer with join Eminem which is going to be fucking great,” Shaddix said. “He’s a cool cat. He’s down to earth. As off kilter as he is with his music, he’s got it together. He’s clever.
“And I think to see him growing up as being a star, he’s handling it cool. And he just puts it all into his music. He’ll handle the hip-hop part and we’ll handle the rock part so it’s a good combination this summer.”
