Paramore set out plans for more new releases

Hayley Williams reveals band are readying new track 'Renegade' for release

Paramore are planning to release a series of new tracks this year, singer Hayley Williams has revealed.

The pop punkers, who released a one-off single ‘Monster’ for the soundtrack to the summer blockbuster Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, have now revealed that they recorded more tracks during the sessions for ‘Monster’ and plan to release them in the near future.

Williams indicated that the band have been using the music from a new track ‘Renegade’ as their intro music to their recent live shows and were putting together plans to release the track formally.

Writing on the band’s official website, Williams wrote:

We’re stoked everyone has been loving the videos from our short run on the Warped tour this summer. We noticed a lot of you asking about the intro music and where it was from and we are happy to tell you it’s a new song entitled ‘Renegade’.

She continued:

Back in March, we recorded a handful of songs (including ‘Monster’) with Rob Cavallo which we promised we’d get to you this year. ‘Renegade’ is the first song of the three that are left to be released.

Paramore are currently a trio after founding members Josh and Zac Farro left the band in December last year.
