Parklife is the latest festival to drop a killer 2018 line-up

It's the week of being blessed by festival bookers.

The 2018 line-up for Manchester’s Parklife has just been revealed and it’s a corker, featuring headline sets from The XX, Liam Gallagher, Skepta and N.E.R.D.

The festival is taking place between June 9-10, 2018 at Heaton Park, Manchester.

It will be Gallagher’s first return to Heaton Park since playing with Beady Eye as support for The Stone Roses in 2012, following Oasis’ massive 2009 shows there.

Taking to the stage over the weekender will be acts such as Chvrches, Lorde and Bonobo, along with dance favourites Justice, Everything Everything and Four Tet.

Tickets go on sale Thursday (February 1) at 9am GMT, with general weekend tickets costing £109.50, and day passes selling for £65.

Last year, Stormzy, Frank Ocean, Zara Larsson and The 1975 were among the highlights conquering Heaton Park.

This has been the week for huge festival announcements, including Primavera Sound dropping their huge bill, featuring headliners Björk, The National and Arctic Monkeys.

Arctic Monkeys have been hard at work on their sixth album, and you can catch at a whole heap of festivals over the summer, including Poland’s Open’er,  Hungary’s Sziget and Portugal’s NOS Alive.

As well as Arctic Monkeys, NOS Alive will be playing host to Queens Of The Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, and Jack White. Check out the rest of the bill here.

Earlier today, the BBC announced the line-up for The Biggest Weekend, which they’ve dubbed ‘Glastonbury’s replacement’ as the festival is on its fallow year.

Last year, the broadcaster announced that their new multi-location event would offer “coverage similar to that around Glastonbury”.

The new event will take place in four sites across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland across the May Bank Holiday (25-28 May).

Confirmed acts include Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Noel Gallagher and Manic Street Preachers.
