Watch as Parquet Courts perform with rapper Bun B on Colbert

Rapper joined the band for 'Captive of the Sun'

Parquet Courts were joined by UGK rapper Bun B during their performance of ‘Captive of the Sun’ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Bun B lended a bar and some additional gusto to ‘Captive of the Sun,’ with the band also accompanied by members of PC Worship, Blues Control, and Eaters.

Parquet Courts released their fifth album ‘Human Performance’ earlier this year through Rough Trade. It was their first piece of new music since the mostly instrumental ‘Monastic Living’ EP, released in 2015.

NME’s Ben Homewood awarded the group’s latest effort four stars, writing: “It’s easy to simply pore over Savage’s frantic wordplay – which peaks when evaluating kebab-wrapping techniques on ‘Berlin Got Blurry’ – but the music is equally brilliant.”
