STEPEN PASTEL COMPOSES HIMSELF

'Last Great Wilderness' is being shot in Edinburgh...

STEPHEN PASTEL is to compose the soundtrack to a new Scottish film being shot in EDINBURGH.

The movie, provisionally titled ‘Last Great Wilderness’, is directed by first-time director David MacKenzie.

Indie stalwart Pastel, who runs the Glasgow-based Geographic label, has invited Geographic musician Bill Wells and Twisted Nerve artist James Rutledge, of Twisted Nerve outfit D.O.T., to participate in making the music and, “if the timing works”, will hopefully produce and mix the final soundtrack in Chicago with Tortoise/The Sea and Cake producer John McEntire.
