Paul McCartney has joined forces with surf filmmaker Jack McCoy for the music video to a previously unreleased track.

‘Blue Sway’, which was written by The Beatles man over 20 years ago, is set to feature on the forthcoming bonus edition of his re-issued 1980 album ‘McCartney II’. Watch footage of the video below.

“When I saw Jack McCoy‘s underwater surfing footage put to the soundtrack of ‘Blue Sway’ I was blown away,” said McCartney.

The track recently won Best Music Video at the NYC BE FILM Short Festival. The clip is due to feature as part of the Surfrider Foundation‘s summer PSA campaign, a non-profit organisation which protects beaches around the world.

McCartney will re-issue his 1970 album solo album ‘McCartney’ and ‘McCartney II’ on Monday (June 13). The re-issue of ‘McCartney’ will feature seven bonus tracks while the follow-up will include eight bonus tracks, featuring b-sides and alternative song versions.
