Paul McCartney shares alternate take of ‘Ebony & Ivory’ featuring additional Stevie Wonder vocals

'Tug Of War' and 'Pipes Of Peace' albums will be reissued on October 2

Paul McCartney is set to reissue two classic albums next month and has shared an alternate take of Stevie Wonder duet ‘Ebony & Ivory’, which features on one of the re-releases.

‘Ebony & Ivory’ was originally released in 1982, featuring on McCartney’s ‘Tug of War’ album. You can now hear a 2015 remix of the track, featuring additional Stevie Wonder vocals, below.

‘Tug Of War’ will be re-released along with 1983’s ‘Pipes Of Peace’ on October 2, the latest instalments in the Paul McCartney Archive Collection. McCartney has personally supervised all aspects of these releases and their formats.

The LPs will “receive lavish multiple configuration reissue treatment including exclusive 2015 remixes of both the entire ‘Tug of War’ album and the ‘Pipes Of Peace’ collaboration with Michael Jackson, ‘Say Say Say’.” A “treasure trove” of previously unreleased tracks and never before seen video are also promised.
