Paul McCartney has spoken for the first time about playing this year’s GLASTONBURY.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the superstar headlines the Pyramid Stageat this year’s bash on June 26.

“Touring really has been a lot of fun for us and the audiences have been great. So why stop now? I’m looking forward to playing to and visiting some new places,” said Paul McCartney on his official website.

Paul McCartney was booked for the slot just days after last year’s event finished.

The Glastonbury appearance will be the last in a series of 13 dates for Paul McCartney, who embarks on his brief world tour in May.
