The star's wife Heather Mills gives birth to a baby girl called Beatrice Milly...

Paul McCartney‘s wife HEATHER MILLS gave birth to a baby girl yesterday (October 29), making the former-Beatle a father again at 61.

Mills gave birth to seven-pound Beatrice Milly atSt John and St Elizabeth Hospital, London, just a stones throw from Abbey Road Studios. Beatrice Milly, born three weeks early, was delivered by caesarean section.

“She is a little beauty and we couldn’t be prouder,” enthused Paul McCartney in a statement. “She is named after Heather’s mother Beatrice and my Aunt Milly.

“Our immediate family were told the news right away and are all as overjoyed as we are at the early arrival of our little bundle of joy.”

Paul McCartney married Mills in June 2002, and despite fears that Mills, 35, could not conceive, she fell pregnant.

Beatrice Milly is Paul McCartney‘s fourth child. He has three children from his previous marriage to the late Linda McCartney, including the fashion designer Stella.

As previously reported on NME.COM, The Beatles ‘Let It Be…Naked’ is released November 17. The album removes producer Phil Spector’s orchestrations, choirs and effects from the record, pleasing Paul McCartney, who has often voiced his unhappiness with the original mix.
