The Beatles legend gets hitched to fiancée Heather Mills in Ireland...

Paul McCartney and fiancée HEATHER MILLS will be married in Ireland tomorrow (June 11), it has been confirmed.

After a week of speculation, final preparations for the lavish showbiz event of the year are now well underway. The couple arrived by helicopter yesterday, flying into the grounds of the 17th century 1,000-acre Castle Leslie estate, in the village of Glaslough, Co Monaghan close to the Irish border. The service will be held at St Salvator’s Church of Ireland Church within the grounds of the estate.

Paul McCartney‘s spokesman Geoff Baker has announced that the former Beatle

and his bride-to-be will meet the press at 4pm (BST) today (June 10) at the estate’s gates. “He wants to say a little hello and a thank you to people,” he said. Fans and press have been camped outside the gates since the New York Post broke details of the impending nuptials late last week.

Three marquees have been erected in the castle grounds to house the expected 300 guests. While details of due to arrive are being kept under wraps, speculation is rife that the last remaining Beatle

Ringo Starr will read a poem at the ceremony incorporating some of the words to The Beatles

classic ‘All You Need Is Love’. Other names mooted include Eric Clapton, John Eastman – brother of [/a]’s late wife Linda – and [a]’s four children, who have had a reportedly icy relationship with their would-be stepmother.
