Paul McCartney is inviting his fans to a secret gig in London next week.
The Beatles icon has asked his 3.8 million followers to record a short video on Twitter explaining why they are worthy of a place at the show, the location of which is currently undisclosed.
He tweeted in a post you can view below: ”Why do you think you should attend a secret event in London with Paul next week? Post a short video using the hashtag #UnderTheStaircase.”
It comes ahead of the release of his new album ‘Egypt Station’, which is out on September 7.
The show will give fans, who missed out on his recent tour, a chance to see The Beatles icon.
Earlier this week, many fans complained after tickets for his UK tour seemingly sold out within seconds.
He is due to play three dates in Liverpool, Glasgow and London this December.
But as soon as tickets went on sale for the shows, fans said they were unable to obtain tickets.
Meanwhile, it was recently hinted that McCartney may headline Glastonbury in 2019.
Asked by BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley about the possibility of playing, Emily Eavis said: “Oh we always want him – he’s top of our list. We’ll have to see.”
