Paul Weller‘s forthcoming UK tour will go ahead as planned, following the revelation yesterday that he has been questioned over allegations of rape.
As reported on NME.COM earlier in the day, Weller was arrested and released on bail without charge after being questioned over an alleged rape four years ago in Farnham, Surrey.
This afternoon a spokesperson for Weller told NME.COM that at present the shows “would continue unaffected”.
The tour is set to commence later in the month, calling at: Poole Arts Centre (October 28)

Blackpool Empress Ballroom (31)
Carlisle Sands Centre (November 1)
Hull Arena (2)
London Earls Court (4)
The Earl’s Court show will see support from Finley Quaye and Dum Dums.
