Paul Weller has been arrested and released on bail after questioning over an alleged rape four years ago.
According to a report in yesterday’s News Of The World newspaper (October 22), Weller has been released without charge after being questioned over an alleged incident in Farnham, Surrey at the end of 1996.
The report adds that Weller will be questioned again over the next few weeks.

A spokesperson for Paul Weller refused to comment on the allegations, and Farnham police are currently unavailable for comment.
