The funeral of Paula Yates, the former Tube presenter and partner of the late INXS frontman MICHAEL HUTCHENCE, is to take place tomorrow (September 23) at the CHURCH OF MARY MAGDALENE in the village of DAVINGTON in KENT.
Ms Yates, 41, was found dead last Sunday morning (September 17) at her home in Notting Hill, in London. The cause of her death has not yet been established. After a post-mortem proved inconclusive, an inquest was opened and adjourned on Wednesday, pending further tests. There has been speculation that she may have died following an accidental overdose of alcohol and drugs.
Rock star Bob Geldof, who has three daughters from his marriage to Ms Yates, has been given temporary custody of Tiger Lily, the four year old daughter Yates had with Hutchence.
The funeral is being held close to the home that Yates and Geldof shared in Kent, and security will be tight as many of the TV presenter’s celebrity friends are expected to attend.
