Peace to play free Birmingham gig this Sunday

Band set for hometown gig at The Rainbow Courtyard

Peace have announced details of a free homecoming gig to take place on Sunday (September 28).

The band will play The Rainbow Courtyard in their hometown, having last played the venue in 2012. Tickets can be won here.

In a message to fans regarding the gig, frontman Harrison Koisser said: “The last time we played The Rainbow Courtyard was Halloween 2012 and if my memory hasn’t betrayed me, it was the wildest show we have ever played. Being ourselves, we’ve decided to come back and play here again this Sunday – a gift for you gorgeous people… a gig, for you.”

Last month (August) the band revealed a new look and boyband-style dance routine on the video for new single ‘Lost On Me’.

The group wore all-white outfits in the clip, while singer Harry Koisser sported a dyed red shaggy hairdo. The video sees the band practising a dance routine in a rehearsal studio, and taking it out on the street when an accident occurs. They narrowly avoid being hit by passing cars, terrify a family having a picnic and, eventually, appear to come to a sticky end.

The song is the latest to be lifted from the Birmingham band’s forthcoming second album. Peace have already revealed ‘World Pleasure’ and ‘Money’ from the upcoming LP, which was recorded at London’s Dean Street Studios.
