Peace have premiered the new video for their latest single ‘Lovesick’ – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen.
The track, which is taken from the Birmingham band’s debut album ‘In Love’, will be released on June 23.
Speaking about the track and its accompanying video, frontman Harry Koisser said: “‘Lovesick is a really uncool song. Saying that, sometimes it’s not about anything except what you feel. And when you reach that place, things happen that are beautiful. Beautiful because they’re really really real.”
He went on to add: “It’s hard to say anything about the video. Maybe because I just woke up? Maybe because it’s such a straightforward classic video? I feel a bit like James Brown in that weird interview where he just sings his own song and says ‘I look good, I smell good and I make love good’. I definitely don’t look or smell good though.”
Peace released ‘In Love’ in March of this year and saw the LP chart at Number 16 in the Official UK Album Charts. Speaking to NME about the record, Kossier said: “It’s a real mixed bag but there’s something for everyone on there. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be eclectic.”
