'Man Of The Hour' will be available from the band's official website...
PEARL JAM‘s next single is to be released as a digital download.
‘Man Of The Hour’ features on the soundtrack to Tim Burton’s upcoming movie ‘Big Fish’. And while the album won’t be released until December 23 in the US, Pearl Jam‘s official website [url=]pearljam.com
will be the exclusive source for the track’s release of the single from Monday (November 10).
Billboard reports that from that date fans can pre-order the single, which will include a full band studio version as well as frontman Eddie Vedder’s home demo. Orders will be shipped out from November 26. The single will sell for $5.
Burton has attended a number of Pearl Jam
shows over the years, and after screening the film for the band, the director asked if the group wanted to contribute a new song for the soundtrack.
‘Man Of The Hour’ is expected to go on-sale via digital download sites later this month. According to an official spokesperson, the band’s site will sell the track until mid-January.
Pearl Jam recently completed their long-term contract with Epic Records. No decision has yet been made about a new record deal.
