Watch: Eddie Vedder insults Donald Trump’s manhood on stage

The Pearl Jam frontman is not the first person to bring up the Donald's wedding tackle this campaign

Eddie Vedder has weighed in on the US presidential race in his own inimitable fashion.

The Pearl Jam singer, no stranger to a political statement, expressed his dislike of Donald Trump, the man who seems most likely to run for president on behalf of the Republican Party, on stage in New York on Monday night, by changing the words to the song ‘Wishlist’.

“Even I’d be better than some of these men,” Vedder seems to sing. “Fuck Donald Trump. It’s like his penis gets smaller every time he says ‘huge’.”

You can listen to fan footage of the show, taken at Madison Square Garden, below.

Vedder also made a plea to young voters – who historically stay away from the polls in America in the biggest numbers – to make their voices heard by backing one of Trump’s Democratic rivals in the election, which will take place in November.

He sings: “I like Hillary, but I can feel the Bern. All you young voters, it’s time you were heard. Please don’t stop, don’t ever give up.”

Just a day after the show, Trump’s last main rival to lead the Republicans stepped down. Ted Cruz, the unpopular right-wing senator from Texas, finally admitted defeat on Tuesday, leaving Trump’s coronation almost inevitable.
