Perfume Genius has announced a one-off London gig to take place next week.
The US-based singer-songwriter, real name Mike Hadreas, will perform at Chats Palace on August 4. Ticket details for the gig can be found below. The headline show will follow Perfume Genius’ appearance at London’s Visions Festival on Saturday (August 2). Stage times for the festival can be found here.
Perfume Genius releases his third album, ‘Too Bright’, on September 22. Hadreas has worked with producer Adrian Utley of Portishead on the album with John Parish featuring on a number of tracks. Describing the sound of the album, Hadreas says itm showcases “an underlying rage that has slowly been growing since 10 and has just begun to bubble up.”
Perfume Genius will perform a number of live dates in the UK before the end of the year, including a longer run of gigs in November.
