Pete Doherty misses Paris solo gig

Babyshambles man plays club gig in the French capital instead

Pete Doherty missed a scheduled solo gig at Le Grand Rex in Paris last night (June 5).

The Babyshambles frontman’s Eurostar train was delayed by four hours, meaning he got to the venue at 11pm (ECT) – too late to take the stage. At 11:30pm an announcement was made that the gig was cancelled.

Instead of playing at Le Grand Rex Doherty headed to a nearby club, Le Truskel, and played an impromptu gig in the early hours. The singer played a solo set including ‘Albion’, ‘Fuck Forever’ and ‘Death On The Stairs’.
