Peter Andre named ‘hardest-working artist of 2010’

Australian singer denies Status Quo second year at top of PRS For Music list

Peter Andre has been recognised as the hardest-working artist in the British music industry last year.

The Australian singer topped the annual PRS For Music poll, which was compiled based on the number of arena gigs bands and artists played during 2010.

Andre‘s Revelation tour saw him play 38 dates to almost 100,000 fans.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer denied Status Quo a second year at the top of the list, which saw JLS come third and Westlife and Rod Stewart complete the top five.

PRS For Music also compiled a list based on gigs played at smaller venues, which was topped by Example, with Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah coming in second and third respectively.
