Pink shocks French fans with graphic video

She's out to help the sheep of Australia

Pink has called on fans to boycott the Australian wool trade.

The outspoken singer used a show in Paris on Monday (December 18) to draw attention to practises after teaming up with animal rights pressure group PETA 2.

According to MTV, Pink shocked fans in Paris by playing a graphic video during the concert of live sheep mutilations and live sheep exports from the country.

In a statement, the singer said: “I’m calling on all consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them and if they’re merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks.”

According to information released by PETA 2 (People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals), millions of lambs are mutilated in the country each year, with chunks of skin and flesh cut from their backsides in a practice known as mulesing.
