During her Grammys performance, Pink’s acrobatic routine saw her suspended upside down from the ceiling. It’s unlikely her performance at the Oscars will be as daring. It was also revealed this week that Bette Midler will be giving her debut performance at the Academy Awards, with producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron saying: “We are thrilled to have Bette perform on the Oscars for the very first time. We believe she will make our Oscar telecast an especially moving evening.”
All tracks nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar – Karen O’s ‘The Moon Song’ (from ‘Her’), U2’s ‘Ordinary Love’ (from ‘Mandela’), ‘Happy’ by [a]Pharrell Williams (from ‘Despicable Me 2’) and Idina Menzel’s ‘Let It Go’ (from ‘Frozen’) – will be performed on the night too.
