Ex-PINK FLOYD bassist ROGER WATERS – the man primarily responsible for ‘THE WALL’ and ‘DARK SIDE OF THE MOON’ – has announced details of a brief arena tour of the UK and Ireland.
Waters, who left Pink Floyd in 1983 and then lost a legal battle with the remaining three members over rights of the group’s name, will play the shows as part of a four-month world tour.
Speaking at a press conference at Abbey Road studios in London today, Waters said he’d be “crazy” not to head back out on the road. He played a hugely succesful tour of the US in June and July 2000, dates that were recorded for his ‘In The Flesh’ album.
The British and Irish dates are as follows:
Birmingham NEC (June21)
Manchester MEN Arena (22)
Dublin Point (24)
London Wembley Arena (26)
