Pixie Lott to collaborate with Stevie Wonder

Singer announces high profile collaborations for second album

Pixie Lott has collaborated with Stevie Wonder and John Legend on her second album, which is set for release on November 7.

According to the pop star, the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Turn It Up’, will also see her plough more personal ground than her debut did.

Of the collaboration with Wonder, she said: “I’ve been such a massive fan [of Stevie Wonder] for so many years, it’s crazy to actually see him in the flesh.”

“I met his family and his wife, I spoke to him for a while and he’s such a legend.” Speaking to Newsbeat, she added that their collaboration was a “feel good, throwback record,” which Wonder adds harmonica to.

She said that the Legend collaboration was a “very vocal” number. She said: “I’m a massive fan of John Legend so I was really really excited and happy about that.”

Lott also stated: “I’m not afraid to use my personal experiences and put them into a song… I think that’s when you get the best stuff anyway, when it’s real emotion.”

Her new single ‘All About Tonight’ was debuted on The Chris Moyles Show yesterday (July 11).
