The legendary indie rockers increase their ever-expanding itinerary...

Pixies have added another date to their ever-expanding reunion tour.

The band, who make their highly anticipated return on April 14 at the Winnipeg Burton Cummings Theatre, have now announced that they will play a second night at the Eugene MacDonald Theatre on April 28.

The first gig at the venue (April 27) sold out in under five minutes.

Following the Pixies‘ North American dates, they will play four concerts at London’s Brixton Carling Academy – all 19,000 tickets sold out within two hours.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Pixies have revealed they will be playing new material on their first tour in 12 years.

A statement on the website Pixies[/a] have rehearsed and they will rehearse again in March in a secret location in Los Angeles.

“Yes, they have decided which tunes they are doing. For the most part, they’ll be doing Pixies‘ tunes. As for new songs, there’s a Latvian lullaby, a Czech dirge and a Bulgarian ballad.”
