The adoring crowd, including Badly Drawn Boy and The Raveonettes, won't let them leave...

Pixies‘ LONDON residency continued last night (June 3) with the band being forced to play three encores because the adoring crowd wouldn’t let them leave.

The comeback band, watched by the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, Buzzcocks, Terry Hall and Pixies, extended their set at the London Brixton Academy after a passionate response from the sold-out crowd.

Damon Gough, aka Badly Drawn Boy, told NME.COM after the show: “They were incredible.”

One fan, David Lockwood , insisted: “I’ve seen them quite a few times, but that has to be the best ever show I’ve seen them play.”

The group ran through all of their most well known songs, including ‘Here Comes Your Man’ and ‘Debaser’, as well as playing a host of songs omitted from the set the night before, including ‘Where Is My Mind?’, ‘Ed Is Dead’ and ‘Is She Weird?’.
