After almost two decades together it's all over...

Japanese popsters PIZZICATO FIVE are reported to be splitting after almost two decades together.

According to [url=]www.rolliingstone.com, the band, formed in the early ’80s by students Keitaro Takanami, Ryo Kamamiya and Konishi Yasuharu, plan to perform a farewell concert in their native Tokyo on March 31.

It is anticipated that the band’s last release will be a greatest hits compilation entitled ‘Pizzicato Five R.I.P. Big Hits & Jet Lags’, later in the year.
