PJ HARVEY is the latest star to be approached to work with Queens Of The Stone Age.
The rock titans have approached the star suggesting a collaboration.
Harvey, who is currently working on the follow-up to her acclaimed ‘Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea’ album, is a huge fan of Soundgarden, and went to a number of dates on their recent UK tour.
After one of the gigs, Josh Homme asked her to record with him when he puts together a new ‘Desert Sessions’ compilation next year. Previous stars who have been out to the desert with the band include Mark Lanegan, and members of Queens Of The Stone Ageand [/a].
[a]Soundgarden are currently on a European tour, and have been confirmed to appear at the Big Day Out festival shows in Australia next January, sharing a bill with PJ Harvey.
