PJ HARVEY has teamed up with yet another member of Queens Of The Stone Age – this time recording parts for MARK LANEGAN’s solo album.

As we revealed, Harvey has been in the US, recording songs for Josh Homme’s ‘Desert Sessions’ side project.

NME.COM has learned that Polly will also guest on Lanegan’s new solo album, due later this year. Lanegan, a former member of Screaming Trees, has featured on the last two [a][/a] albums and is part of their live set-up.

In time out from writing and recording her new album, due later this year or early 2003, Harvey plans to write with Marianne Faithful. Live dates, including festival shows, will be announced for the summer.
