'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea', featuring Thom Yorke, will be with us soon...

PJ Harvey has finalised details of her new album, nme.com can reveal.

Her new album, ‘Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea’ is released on October 23 through Universal/Island Records.

Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke has recorded vocals for three new tracks, including the duet ‘This Mess We’re In’ and backing singing for ‘One Line’ and ‘Beautiful Feeling’.


The follow-up to PJ Harvey‘s last album, ‘Is This Desire?’, features 12 new tracks, performed and produced by Polly Harvey, Rob Ellis and Mick Harvey. The record was written and recorded in New York and Dorset.

A single will be released following the album and it’s likely that PJ Harvey will take to the road later this year to promote the new record.
