PJ Harvey is to headline the NME Stage at V98...

PJ Harvey is to headline the NME stage at V98. It will be her first live performance for two years. Harvey is in the studio working on her new album which has the working title of ‘Is This Desire?’. The album is due for release in September on Island. Harvey can also be heard on the new Tricky single, ‘Broken Homes’, which is due out in May.

Other additions to the V98 line-up for Chelmsford on August 22 and Leeds on August 23 include on the Main Stage: Ani DiFranco and The Young Offenders; NME Stage: Catatonia, Saint Etienne, The Montrose Avenue, Gomez and Midget. Additions to the V98 line-up for Leeds on August 22 and Chelmsford on August 23 include on the Main Stage: Feeder, Rialto and The Shire Horses; NME Stage: PJ Harvey, Republica, The Dandy Warhols, Theaudience and The Smiles. They join a bill that includes The Verve, The Charlatans, Texas, Green Day, Space, Robbie Williams, Iggy Pop, James and Chumbawamba.
