PJ Harvey, Four Tet, Skepta and more confirmed for London’s Field Day festival 2016

Deerhunter, Beach House and John Grant also set to perform at Victoria Park from June 11-12

PJ Harvey has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year’s Field Day festival in London.

Field Day 2016 will be held at Victoria Park from June 11-12. Harvey will top the bill for the Sunday leg, in what will be her first UK full-band live show since 2011.

Beach House, Goat, John Grant, The Thurston Moore Band and more will also perform elsewhere on the Sunday bill.

Saturday’s acts include Deerhunter, Skepta, Four Tet, Cass McCombs, Dean Blunt, Mount Kimbie (DJ set), Wild Nothing, Youth Lagoon.

PJ Harvey recently performed ten new songs at a gig at London’s Barbican. The new tracks included ‘Chain of Keys’, ‘The Wheel’, ‘The Orange Monkey’, ‘Dollar Dollar’, ‘The Community Of Hope’, ‘Homo Sappy Blues’, ‘Medicinals’, ‘Near The Memorials To Vietnam And Lincoln’, ‘River Anacostia’ and ‘The Ministry Of Social Affairs’.

Earlier this year, Harvey recorded her next album at London’s Somerset House during open recording sessions which the public could attend.
