PLACEBO halted their gig in MILAN’s ALCATRAZ CLUB last night (November 8) when a fan was spotted with video equipment recording the show.
After initially spying the camera, frontman Brian Molko became incensed telling the fan to “either the video is turned off or I’ll personally come down there and shove it up your ass”. When the threat didn’t work and the recording continued, Placebo briefly brought things to a halt.
However, the equipment was quickly confiscated and the show restarted. Molko went on to later apologise to fans for his “rudeness”.
The gig itself was very low-key, the highlight being an acoustic version of perennial favourite ‘Teenage Angst’.
Placebo continue their European tour, with support from Idlewild, tonight in Geneva’s Salle Des Fetes Du Lignon.
