Poison’s Bret Michaels wins US ‘Apprentice’ despite brain haemorrhage diagnosis

Donald Trump picks singer as winner in celebrity version of TV show

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has won the Celebrity Apprentice show in the US – despite suffering a brain haemorrhage.

The singer scooped the top prize on the reality TV show, after being picked by the host Donald Trump, reports BBC News.

The task element of the final had been pre-recorded before the frontman’s recent medical problems.

Michaels was also recently diagnosed with having a hole in his heart, but was upbeat about his recovery.

His spokesperson said: “He has made it clear he is sick and tired of being in the hospital and is ready to rock again.”
