Could we be getting new Post Malone music before the end of 2018?

The rapper is working on the follow-up to his April-released second album 'Beerbongs & Bentleys'

Post Malone has hinted that he has a new project in the works, telling fans that it could even come out before the end of the year.

The Texas singer/rapper followed up his 2016 debut album ‘Stoney’ with April’s ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’, which charted at number one in the UK and smashed numerous streaming records.

Seven months on from ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’, Malone has now told fans that he’s working on a new “body of work” which could see the light of day before 2018 is out.

However, he clarified in the Twitter post: “Trying to put out a new body of work before the end of the year but we all know how that goes[…] wish me luck, k.”

As well as releasing solo material, Malone also recorded a song with Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee earlier this year for the soundtrack to the upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Earlier today (November 21), Post Malone was announced as one of the four headliners at Reading & Leeds 2019. The rapper will co-headline with Twenty One Pilots at the festival, with the two acts sharing headline duties on Saturday August 24 at Reading and the following day in Leeds. Foo Fighters and The 1975 are also among the first names on the line-up.
