The US rapper is believed to be on board with a number of other passengers
Malone, 23, and his team were travelling from Teterboro Airport, New Jersey to London’s Luton Airport on Tuesday when the tyres blew out on the runway.
A representative for the Federal Aviation Administration told Pitchfork that the pilot will attempt to make an emergency landing at Windsor, New York. The plane was originally going to try to land in Westfield, Massachusetts.
According to TMZ, the plane will hover to burn fuel in order to facilitate a safer landing.
It is not clear at the time of writing whether the plane has landed.
NME has reached out to representatives for Post Malone for comment.
