PRIMAL SCREAM singer BOBBY GILLESPIE will be taking over a whole radio station to curate a ‘virtual festival’ this month.

After a successful similar project with Radiohead, digital station BBC 6Music will let Gillespie select his favourite rock classics from the BBC archives.

Over the weekend of January 24-25, Gillespie will appear on shows throughout the weekend to play his choice of sessions and live recordings for the ‘fantasy music festival’.

Highlights promised throughout the weekend include a version of [/a]’ ‘The Queen Is Dead’ recorded in 1985, a [a]

session featuring ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ and a live

recording of Rolling
