PRINCE has posted two new songs on his website for fans to download.
‘U MAKE MY SUN SHINE’, a smoochy duet with soul star ANGIE STONE, and a cover version of THE STAPLE SINGERS’ ‘WHEN WILL WE BE PAID’ are available now on www.npgonlineltd.com. The songs can be found by clicking on an icon of the sun on various pages throughout the site and then on a series of letters which spell out the password “truth”. An explanatory statement reads: “This NPG doctine hereby authorises U2 to distribute the digital in4mation contained herein anywhere in the universe,” but provides the caveat that, while file sharing is deemed acceptable, this is an “xperiment in honour” and anyone selling the songs for profit is encouraged to send the money to Prince’s Paisley Park Retail.
