That's partly because Mick Jagger and Sting failed to wear silver satin gowns split to the thigh. Thankfully...
GERI HALLIWELL, MICK JAGGER, SIR ELTON JOHN and STING were among the celebrities who turned up for a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the PRINCE’S TRUST, hosted by PRINCE CHARLES in LONDON last night (March 12).
Former Spice Girl Halliwell created the biggest stir at the celebrity-studded bash, which was held at St James’s Palace, arriving in a silver satin gown split to the thigh. Along with the rest of the Spice Girls, she has met the Prince several times, famously singing ‘Happy Birthday’ in a Marilyn Monroe style to him at his 50th birthday celebrations.
The stars voiced their support for the Prince’s Trust, which helps young people. Speaking to The Mirror, Sir Elton said: “The trust does so many good things for so many young people,” while Mick Jagger added: “It’s a wonderful charity.”
Other famous faces at the event included comedians Ben Elton and Stephen Fry, actresses Joanna Lumley, Joely Richardson and Jerry Hall and actors Richard E Grant and Ben Kingsley.
