Rapper has been released from jail after being booked

Public Enemy‘s Flavor Flav has been arrested for driving offences in Los Angeles.

The rapper was taken to a police station in the US city after being stopped by an officer while driving late on Friday night (April 29), reports He was taken in as he had four warrants for his arrest due to driving crimes.

The offences, which Flav had failed to settle before being picked up, were a parking violation, driving without proof of insurance and two counts of driving without a license.

He was released after being taken to jail and booked.

Public Enemy are scheduled to head to the UK in September, to play live shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London. They’ll play their 1990 album ‘Fear Of A Black Planet’ in full at the gigs.
