SEAN ‘P DIDDY’ COMBS was issued with a lawsuit for child support in NEW YORK on Tuesday (July 10) by a court worker posing as an autograph hunter.
The star had just left a promotional appearance on chat show ‘Live With Regis And Kelly’ when he stopped to greet some fans. According to launch.com, he was handed a notebook by process server Caswell Bryan, but when he reached for it he discovered it was a lawsuit from former girlfriend Kim Porter. The pair have a son called Christian. Porter is seeking an increase on the $6,800 per month she currently receives in child support.
Combs released new album ‘P. Diddy And The Bad Boy Family…The Saga Continues’ in the US on Tuesday. Despite his claim that the album “comprised of entirely original beats and music,” 12 of the 17 tracks use samples. Puffy tried to explain it away to Associated Press saying no samples of major hits had been employed. “There is no Diana Ross sample there,” he said, referring to the sample he used on Notorious BIG’s ‘Mo Money, Mo Problems’ in 1997. “When anybody is talking about a sample, usually it’s talking about a known sample. People always try to criticise me for using pop hits. We did not do that this time.”
‘P. Diddy And The Bad Boy Family…The Saga Continues’ is released on the UK during September.
