Cable show host alleges he was injured and intimidated after an interview with Puffy...
Fresh from his acquittal after his high-profile courtroom battle against alleged gun charges, SEAN ‘PUFF DADDY’ COMBS is facing yet another lawsuit.
The rapper is being sued by Detroit cable TV show host Roger Mills, who alleges that he assaulted him, falsely imprisoned him, damaged his property and intentionally caused emotional distress after a disagreement during an interview in August 1999.
According to Associated Press, Mills alleges that Combs, who was outraged when questioned about his possible contribution to the 1997 shooting of Notorious BIG, halted the interview and his entourage surrounded Mills and took the tape from him when he refused to hand it over, allegedly destroying a camera. He claims he suffered a twisted neck and injured shoulder.
Combs’ publicist refused to comment on specific allegations, saying that they had not yet been served with the complaint, but added: “Any claim that Mr Combs participated in any wrongdoing is totally false. Furthermore, facilitating the press with this baseless complaint is a blatant attempt to exploit [his] celebrity for media attention.”
