The shows will elaborate on the themes of their current album 'We Love Life'...

Pulp have announced plans to tour a series of forests in the summer of 2002, elaborating on the themes of their current album ‘WE LOVE LIFE’.

Pulp vocalist Jarvis Cocker previously told NME.COM that the inspiration behind the record were the “fundamental things” in life. He said that the group “stripped away all the things and in the end we were left with bare earth, trees and nature.”

Now, Pulp will play shows in UK forests across the country in June 2002. Support acts are currently unconfirmed.

The shows are at: Sherwood Pines, Near Edwinstone, Nottinghamshire (June 15)

Bedgebury Pinetum, Near Cranbrook, Kent (16)

Roseisle Forest, Near Elgin, Scotland (21)

Dalby Forest, Near Pickering, North Yorkshire (22)

Thetford Forest, Near Brandon, Suffolk (23)
