Desiigner the latest artist signed to Kanye West’s Good Music roster, joined Pusha T onstage in London last night (April 27).
The rapper performed his breakthrough single ‘Panda’ at Electric Brixton. It was recently sampled by West on ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt II’ from his ‘The Life Of Pablo’ album. It was later reworked into a food-themed remix by Lupe Fiasco.
Fans posted a number of clips of the team up on Instagram, which culminated in Desiigner diving into the crowd. You can watch footage below.
He was recently filmed throwing up onstage during a live performance in New York.
The 19-year-old Brooklyn rapper was performing at NYC venue the Emporium when he appeared to vomit while performing ‘Panda’.
Meanwhile, Pusha T is due to release new album ‘King Push’ later this year. It is the follow up to his 2015 album ‘King Push: Darkness Before Dawn (The Prelude)’. Collaborators on that record included Kanye West, Timbaland, J Cole, Q-Tip, A$AP Rocky, Hudson Mohawke, Boi-1da and DJ Mano, plus guest appearances from Jill Scott, rapper Future, Beanie Sigel and singer Kehlani.
He was appointed president of GOOD Music, the label founded by Kanye West in 2004.
The rapper took four months to make the decision, and talked about the process that saw West appoint him to the position: “Actually, I was flying home and I had just got into my car at the airport. ‘Ye had called me and he was like, ‘Tell me something. What do you think about being the president of GOOD Music?’ And I was like, ‘Well, what are the things that you’re looking for?’ And he was basically just like, to manicure the label, make it profitable and be very business-oriented about it going forward in a manicured type of way.”
