The rapper's 'Daytona' album was the first of five records to be released in a recent rush of activity from the stable
The rapper released his latest album ‘Daytona‘, which was produced by West, in May. It was the first of five seven-track records to be put out by the label in successive weeks.
Speaking to Beats 1’s Julie Adenuga, Pusha-T said the G.O.O.D. Music crew were “trying to figure out right now just how we’re gonna do” a tour. “I’ve already booked a tour,” he said. “But, you know, I definitely see us doing this as a collective for sure, and not even by my word – by Ye’s. I already see it happening.”
The rapper also commented on reports that West would like to release 52 albums in 52 weeks. “I didn’t even hear about that from him,” he said. “I saw it online like you did and I ignored it the best way I could. I was like, this thing come across my radar and I’m going to act like it doesn’t even exist.”
Meanwhile, the star recently revealed he was chased by a fox while recording ‘Daytona’ in Wyoming.
Asked by GQ if anything weird had happened while making the record, the New York-born rapper told the story about the fox, saying it was because he was “in their habitat, invading their habitat.” “I ran,” he said. “But it kept coming towards me. Asked if he was scared, Pusha replied: “For sure. I’m not an outdoors person.”
